Course Description

Our 8-hour course of instruction takes students from the beginning of safe gun handling through actual range fire, regardless of prior training or experience. Our classroom and range instruction is taught by active-duty and retired Police Officers that are Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement (MCOLES) certified. The successful completion of this class enables you to apply for a Michigan Concealed Pistol License. Students must be at least 21 years old to attend class. Students need to bring their own pistol. OCC will provide ammo and lunch. Students cannot bring single action handguns Students can call 248-232-4303 if you need more information on the firearms or if you have any additional questions.
